The world was created from dirt
they
say.
evolution
big bang
genesis
but together we sit
in this
increment
of not-so-vast
time
and through each rock of
sedimentary value, i see
the sun at its full
potential when these
beings think. how great
is the power to think—
no
really
how great is it—
us being here and thinking
as individualists only
leads to fear
exhaustion
the power of unknowing might
just be the power of knowing
I have
no clue
so,
scientists
rumble through their
rubix thoughts and when
red matches green we sing
carols and give while
blue corresponds to yellow
and leaks aimlessly back
down into the green grass—
colorwheel of thought—
increments of light rays through
the prism of the sky.
you can tell me I'm
not
alone
many times but the
truth is that the truth
doesn't live like that
bluebird in you
him
her
it
because there is
no
truth—
popular opinion's mask will
reveal itself one day
or it won't, but one
thing is
quite
certain:
the future
of our
generation
is
obviously
death.
